Taking photos. Paying attention to the shifting of the light. Doing my quiet work and nothing else. Removing myself from the mad rush society expects of us. Relinquishing everything else, just focusing on the thing that matters. Getting to know Tasmania, inch by inch at a time. Spending my days wandering in quiet solitude. Being one with the land. Giving up fighting the fights I cannot win. Printing each image only once, to represent the moment that will never happen again. Becoming what I must be.”
